Grand Balkan Tour 11 days

DAY 01
BUCHAREST - BRAN - BRASOV

Start of service. Group meeting at the Bucharest Airport parking lot. After initial introduction, there will be a three hours bus drive to Bran, commune of five villages, with 14th century Bran castles Tour as main tourist attraction, where we will be met by local tour guide. After tour, we will have a short bus drive to Brasov, just 30kms from Bran, where group will be accommodated in 3* hotel. During evening, there will be free time and dinner at hotels restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 02
BRASOV - SINAIA - BUCHAREST - VELIKO TARNOVO

Breakfast at hotel. After quick check-out, group will head to the Sinaia, just in time to visit famous Peles castle, luxurious 18th century neo-renaissance castle, situated at the banks of the Carpathian mountains. After this popular tour, we will head to Bucharest, capital of Romania. Just before entering city center, there will be a lunch break at international restaurant. After small break, there will be a short bus drive to city center, where Bucharest City Tour will take place, and we will be accompanied by local tour guide. After tour, we will head south, towards Bulgaria and Veliko Tarnovo, "City of Tzars", where we will head directly to hotel, check in, and have a big, traditional Bulgarian dinner in the 4* hotel restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 03
VELIKO TARNOVO - SOFIA - BLAGOEVGRAD

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast and hotel check-out, there will be two hours long tour "Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi", tour with local guide, including visit to famous Tsarevets fortress. As the tour ends, group will head towards Sofia, a three hours drive, good time to get some rest, just before lunch break at national restaurant in Sofia district. Our friendly hosts will prepare us traditional lunch, which is set to end just in time for Sofia City Tour, where local guide will show us all the Sofia attractions. After this lovely tour, it is time to get to the Blagoevgrad, our last stop in Bulgaria. We will head directly to our 4* hotel, and there will be plenty free time for group. Dinner will be served at hotels restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 04
BLAGOEVGRAD - RILA - BELGRADE

Breakfast at the hotel and an early check-out. Group will now have a short bus transfer to the Rila monastery, the monastery of Saint Ivan of Rila, largest and most famous Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria, 1100 years old. Group will be led by group leader, and after tour we continue our journey towards beautiful Serbia and our first stop there, Pirot. In Pirot we will have lunch in big ethno-style restaurant, with traditional Serbian cuisine. Small break and we head towards Belgrade, a 4 hour bus drive to there, and we go directly to 4* hotel. There will be free time for group and dinner at hotel restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 05
BELGRADE - SKOPJE

Breakfast at hotel, and a quick checkout. As we are in Belgrade, capital of former Yugoslavia and now Serbia, there will be a nice and long local guided Belgrade City Tour, tour of the biggest city of Balkan, city that never sleeps. During the tour, group will head to Skadarlia, main bohemian quarter of Belgrade, where we will have lunch break in one of the famous Skadarlia restaurants. After lunch, group is to head south, and arrive in Skopje, just in time for 4* hotel check in and dinner at hotel restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 06
SKOPJE - OHRID - TIRANA

Breakfast at hotel and a Skopje City Tour with local guide, just after hotel check out. After quick city tour, group will head towards Ohrid, one of the Europe's deepest and oldest lakes and there we will have Ohrid tour with local guide, and a nice lunch on the lake coast. After lunch group is to proceed to Albania, and its capital - city of Tirane. Upon arrival, we will head to 4* hotel for a check in and dinner at hotel restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 07
TIRANA - KOTOR - HERCEG NOVI

Breakfast at hotel. Hotel check out and short Tirana tour with tour leader. After city tour, we will head toward Montenegro, small beautiful country, set between Adriatic sea and Durmitor mountains. There will be a lunch break at the city of Bar, afterward the ride continues and we are to see Adriatic sea for the first time when arriving to Kotor. There will be Kotor City Tour, with local guide and bus transfer to Herceg Novi, where free time is planned for group and a dinner at the 3* hotel restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 08
HERCEG NOVI - DUBROVNIK - MOSTAR- MEDJUGORJE

Early breakfast at hotel and, after check out, two hours drive to Dubrovnik, first city of Croatia to visit. As we get to the Dubrovnik, there will be a local guide to show us this beautiful and well known Adriatic town-fortress. During the tour, we will be seated at fish tavern for lunch. Our next stop is Bosnia, and well known city of Mostar, named after iconic bridge that connects two parts of town. After Mostar City Tour with local guide, we will make short bus transfer to Medjugorje, blessed town between mountains. After short Medjugorje tour with our tour leader there will be transfer to a 4* hotel, where dinner will be served. Overnight.

DAY 09
MEDJUGORJE - SPLIT - PLITVICE - KARLOVAC

Breakfast at the hotel and check out, followed by two and a half long bus ride towards Split, Croatia. In Split there will be Split City Tour, with local guide, that will show us all the world known landmarks of town. After tour, we will head to Plitvice, with nice lunch break along the way. As we arrive to Plitvice, national park tour with tour leader is planned, with visit to Rastoke Village tour. In no time we are to check in 4* hotel in Karlovac, where dinner will be served in hotel restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 10
KARLOVAC - ZAGREB - BLED - LJUBLJANA

Breakfast at hotel and check out, with a short bus ride to Zagreb, capital of Croatia. We will have early morning tour of town, Zagreb City Tour with local guide. After this wonderful town of Zagreb, our nest stop is Bled, well known lake of Slovenia. There will be tour of Bled with tour leader and lunch at Bled Lake fish restaurant. After lunch, Ljubljana tour with tour leader and quick transfer to Domzale. We will be accommodated in a 4* hotel, where dinner will be served. Overnight.

DAY 11
LJUBLJANA - POSTOJNA - TRIESTE - VENICE

Early breakfast at hotel and check out, with a one hour bus ride to Postojna Cave. Around 09.00 in the morning tour Postojna Cave starts. Just after the tour, there will be early lunch in near restaurant, folowed by one hour transfer to Trieste. Our lovely tour guide will host small Trieste tour. Next thing on our list is to get to our last stop, the Venice airport, the end of our services.
